WHO WE ARE
Hi there! We are a husband and wife woodworking duo (Sara and Todd) and we have 2 kiddos, 2 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs. We began as hobbyist makers creating for ourselves and family. We started making magnetic hanger frames and sold them. We found we wanted to go larger scale creating and I ran through my house and found things to sell on Facebook to make money to buy woodworking equipment!
We started officially with our business at the end of 2020. We started in Tonganoxie, KS working out of our garage, and quickly built up our woodshop tool arsenal with garage and estate sales, second-hand tools and equipment. We have a full blown 3,200sqft woodshop in the beautiful North Lawrence, KS and THREE 150 watt Laser cutters/engravers and a UV Printer.
Our Etsy shop, Wonder Wood Crafted revolves around wood blanks (Rounds, DIY Blank Signs, Blank wood ornaments, etc.), Our OTHER Etsy shop, Wonder Wood With Love, includes our famous "Sneaky Floral" custom signs, custom laser cutting/engraving (by Etsy message), and some digital file sales.

TODD
The muscles behind the operation
Creativity and attention to detail has always been engrained in Todd. From his childhood art projects, high school charcoal drawings to wood furniture and pro mod race cars. Todd went to school for engineering at K-State, then after college he worked at his dad's company in Lawrence, KS welding and building race cars. Todd takes extreme care and passion in whatever he does and will always get it done right, if not the first time, he will re-do it. He works a full time job at the railroad. He will always take an idea and figure out how to make it into a reality!
SARA
She makes things pretty and sources authentic designer goods
Sara came from a background of school art contests, constantly drawing and painting. When she was older, an intense excitement over old pieces of furniture found in abandoned farmhouses, to crafting gifts for family. Todd and Sara created their shop in hopes of something bigger! The goal: to create meaningful pieces for you and your family to cherish. She also heads up the Etsy side of the operation by constantly creating and developing new ways to offer wood blank items for other small businesses and crafters! Know that every piece has our love and time invested!
